QueenSpark is delighted to launch our new archive website, to mark our 50th Anniversary year. The site features, for the first time, the full text from our very first book – Poverty – Hardship But Happiness – through to every book that we published up until 2010.
The archive is a completely unique document of life in Brighton & Hove from the beginning of the 20th Century, told by the people that live(d) here. Each book is fully searchable and categorised, and forms an invaluable and fascinating resource for anyone interested in local history and social change.
We would like to thank Mark James from Sussex Community Internet Project for his work in building the website.
